About Jason

Hey there, and welcome.

My name is Jason, you may know me as Jason Paul in some of the category-specific forums on the internet. I’m just a regular guy with an interest in music, and a penchant for the instruments I’ve created categories for. I don’t claim to be an expert, but an intermediate player who likes to help beginners, and grow along with other intermediates.

The goal of this site is to help those beginner and intermediate musicians learn more about music in general, and about the these instruments specifically. These are the instruments I’m interested in, and know something about. They tend to be fairly simple to learn, but like anything take time and effort to master.

Regarding music theory; I have a good understanding of the basics, but don’t claim to be a theorist. So, please don’t get into a theory-geek battle with me, because I’ll likely lose. However, I feel I know enough to be helpful to many.
